The Betfred Championship returns for Round 7, kicking off with Sheffield and Oldham on Saturday.
The Eagles remain unbeaten in 2026, but can they overcome Oldham at the Steel City Stadium? The Roughyeds completed the double over their opponents last year…
Doncaster and Widnes will clash on Sunday. Both teams enter this match on the back of wins in Round 6 and are looking to keep their spots at the top end of the league table.
The Vikings sit in second place behind league leaders London Broncos, whilst Doncaster are in fourth after four wins from five matches.
Last season, their meetings were decided by just four points on both occasions, with the Dons victorious on the road (16-20), and the Vikings also winners in their away fixture (22-26).
Meanwhile, Halifax Panthers host North Wales Crusaders, as the clubs meet for the first time since 2014.
Third-placed Barrow travel to face Hunslet nearby. The hosts have come close in their last two matches but will need to capitalise on their chances much better if they are to claim the two points.
Then, the unstoppable London Broncos host Salford in the capital.
Newcastle Thunder are back at home and welcome Keighley Cougars to the Northeast.
Thunder were nilled twice by Keighley in 2025, but it is expected to be a very competitive encounter this time round.
A 22-20 thriller unfolded between Midlands Hurricane and Rochdale Hornets last time out, with a Ross Oakes match-winner proving to be the difference.
This week, the Hurricanes will head to the Hornets’ home ground…
Finally, there’s Championship action in Cumbria with Workington Town versus Dewsbury Rams.
It could be a special day for Town’s Jamie Doran, who needs just one appearance to reach 250 for his career.
So far this season, the Rams have won two more games than Workington. Will Dewsbury bounce back from their Round 6 defeat to Barrow, or can the Cumbrian side build on last week’s big win over Salford, which was also their first of the 2026 campaign?
